Civil War Preservation

Students of history, in collaboration with non-profit groups, businesses, and the United States govern­ment, are success­fully seeking ways to preserve the landmarks, battlefields, and memory of the Civil War for future generations. The Civil War Preservation Trust alone has preserved over 25,000 acres in nineteen states.
